Performance Physical Therapy in Torrance, CA

Stop Letting Pain Bench Your Training

You keep showing up — but pain keeps getting in the way. At PRIME, every session is 1:1 with a DPT who finds the root cause and builds a plan around how you actually move and train.

What Happens When You Keep Pushing Through Pain Without a Real Plan

The Pain Keeps Coming Back

Rest, ice, and generic exercises can temporarily quiet the pain — but without addressing the actual cause, it always returns. You end up cycling through the same injury instead of moving past it.

Traditional PT Left You Feeling Unfinished

You did the exercises, saw the tech, checked the boxes — and still didn't feel ready to fully return. Generic protocols don't account for how you train, lift, or run. They get you out of pain, not back to performance.

You're Losing Ground Every Week You Wait

Every week without a real plan is a week of missed training, lost fitness, and growing frustration. Waiting for it to get better on its own rarely works — and usually makes the gap harder to close.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about performance PT at PRIME? Here are answers to the ones we hear most.

Is my injury serious enough to come in?

Yes — a 60-minute comprehensive evaluation will clarify exactly what is happening and map out a clear path forward. You don't need to be completely sidelined to benefit from PT. Coming in earlier typically leads to a faster, more complete recovery.

I tried PT before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?

Traditional PT often treats the symptom and hands you off to a tech. At PRIME, every session is 1:1 with a DPT who assesses how you actually move and builds a plan specific to your sport and training. The difference is the level of attention and the specificity of the plan.

Do you accept insurance?

PRIME is a cash-based practice — no in-network insurance is accepted. We accept credit card, debit, HSA, and FSA. Superbills are available for clients who want to submit to their insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

How long are sessions and how often will I need to come in?

Your initial evaluation is 60 minutes — a comprehensive assessment that identifies root causes and produces a clear roadmap. Follow-up session frequency depends on your injury, goals, and timeline. Your clinician will walk you through the plan at your first visit.

Can I keep training while I'm in PT?

In most cases, yes. Immobilization is not the answer — there is almost always something you can do. Your clinician will identify what you can maintain or modify so you stay as active as possible throughout recovery.
